Mrs. A.L. Baldridge
Mrs. Stella Gammon Baldridge,
54, wife of Rev, A.L. Baldridge,
died at 4:25 a.m. today at Greenfield.
The Baldridges, former residents of
Sciotoville, had lived in Greenfield
the last five years.Mrs. Baldridge
had been ill three years after
suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born Sept. 23, 1901, in
Sciotoville where she lived until her
husband accepted pastorate of
Greenfield Christian Baptist Church.
Before moving to Greenfield the
family lived on Winchester Ave.In
Sciotoville.
Surviving are the husband; a son,
Willis Baldridge of East St. Louis, Ill.,
two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hill of
Rosemont Rd. And Mrs. Betty White
of Forest Grove, Ore., and one
grandson, Jack White Jr.
Four brothers, Bert, Andrew,
William of Portsmouth, and George
of New Boston, also survive.
funeral services are to be conducted
Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greenfield
Christian Baptist Church with Rev.
Hollie Conley of Ashland officiating.
he is to be assisted by Rev. F. E.
Veach of Greenfield.
Other arrangements are incomplete.
