                                 this life August 2, 1905, aged 63
                                 years, 6 months and 8 days. Her

                                 Rev. Ben Anderson, pastor of the
                                 Christian church at Sciotoville, of
                                 which she was a member.
                                 Nancy Rowley, daughter of William
                                 and Nancy Rowley, was born
                                 near Sciotoville, in Scioto county,
                                 January 25, in the year of our

                                 to Thomas J. Basham December.
                                 1862. Four children were born
                                 to this union, all of whom have preceded
                                 her to that better land, but one
                                 son. Thomas Edgar. who . resides at
                                 St. Paul, Ky. In addition to the son
                                 she leaves a husband, one sister and
                                 two brothers and a host of relatives
                                 and friends to mourn her demise.
                                 Her sister is Mrs. George Tilley,
                                 of Illinois. Her brothers are Edward
                                 and Jackson Rowley, both of
                                 Sciotoville. She was a dutiful wife
                                 and a kind and loving mother, loved
                                 and respected by all who knew her.

                                 Dearest auntie, thon hast left us,
                                 Here thy loss we deeply feel ;
                                 But 'tis God who hath bereft us;
                                 He can all our sorrows heel.

                                 Yet, again we hope to meet thee,
                                 When the day of life is fled;
                                 Thou in heaven with joy to  greet
                                 Thee
                                  Where no farewell tear is shed.

                                  Auntie, thou hast, found release,
                                  Rest, sweet spirit, rest in peace;
                                  Rest from all thy toils and pains;
                                  Rest where bliss eternal reigns.
                                  I thy peace would not annoy,
                                  Not recall thee from thy joy;
                                  Rest sweet soul for evermore;
                                  Rest with loved ones gone before.
                                  We shall ever feel thee near,
                                  for thy face will oft appear;
                                  Blessed one thou art to me,
                                  One who evermore shall be .
                                  Dead ah no! Tis false, not true,
                                  Living, hidden from our view;
                                  Living, absent, that is all,
                                  Coming back at memory's call.
                                           Her Niece, K. B.
