Mrs. Nannie A. Carver, 71.
wife of John W. Carver, 5923
Glenn avenue, Sciotoville, died at
11:45 p. m. Sunday of influenza
and pneumonia after a two weeks
Illness.
Mrs. Carver was born Aug. 13,
1865, in Sciotoville, a daughter
of Andrew H. and Huldah Rowley
Barnett. She was a member of
the Church of Christ and Rebekah
lodge and Daughters of America
in Sciotoville. She had lived
there all her life. Mrs. Carver
was married on July 21, 1892.
She is survived by her husband
and these children: Roy L.
Flatt of Mayo street, Sciotoville,
son by a former marriage, Walter
Carver of Wheelersburg, Homer
H. Carver of Wood's Ridge road,
Edna A. Carver at home and
Frank T. Carver of Sciotoville.
She also leaves these brothers
and sisters; William H. and James
M. Barnett, Mrs. Sara J. Stiles
and Mrs. Kate Bender of Sciotoville,
and Mrs. Flossie B. Anderson
of Kelso, Calif., and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p, m. Tuesday at the Sciotoville
Christian church with Rev.
George M. Anderson, pastor of
Central Christian church, in
charge, assisted by Rev, John
Mullins, pastor of the Sciotoville
Christian church. Burial will be
in Memorial park cemetery under
the direction of Windel-Howland.
The body will be at the residence.
