WILLIAM F. GAMMON

 William Franklin Gammon, 78 widely-known resident
of Sciotoville, died suddenly today at the home of his
son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. A.L. Baldridge,
531 Lynn St. Sciotoville. Mr. Gammon who had not been
well for a long time, was up and about the home this
morning as usual and was taking a nap on the davenport
when stricken fatally, Coroner Virgil Fowler said a heart
attack caused his death. Born in Greenup County, Mr.
Gammon was the son of Jack and Elizabeth Gammon.
The wife, Mrs. Nannie Gammon, preceded her husband.
Surviving are five children: Bert Gammon of Franklin
Furnace, Andrew Gammon of Camp Bennett near Sciotoville,
George Gammon of Minford, William Gammon and Mrs.
Baldridge of Sciotoville. Two children, Clyde Gammon and
Mrs. Mary Titus preceded the father.
