KENDALL JENKINS

Kendall Jenkins, 78, a well known farmer, died at his home on South
Webster Pike Thursday night. Death was attributed to cerebral
hemorrhage. Mr. Jenkins had been ill about eight weeks. He was
a highly respected farmer, well known throughout the county. He was
an active member of Pomona and Porter granges and belonged to the
Union Baptist Church. His wife preceded him in death several years
 ago, surviving are six children, Joseph Jenkins, Lick Run, Howard
Jenkins, Gephart, Kendall Jenkins Jr. at home, Mrs. Joseph Turner,
of Wheelersburg, Mrs. J. F. Yeley, of South Webster Pike, and Mrs.
 May Yeley, of South Webster Pike. Funeral services are to be held
from the home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. James Shonkwiler
in charge. Burial will be made at Vernon Cemetery.
